The exact half-time score does not matter, only the 1/X/2 state. Similarly, 2–0 and 3–1 both satisfy 1/1 if the home team also led at half-time.

A correct full-time prediction cannot rescue an incorrect half-time leg.


What Period Counts?

Standard football HT/FT normally uses:

  • first half including first-half stoppage time;
  • regular time including second-half stoppage time;
  • no extra time;

A goal recorded after the first-half whistle does not affect half-time. A cup team that wins in extra time can still settle as a regular-time draw.

A correct-score market requires the exact score at the end of the specified period.

“Any Other Score” and Score Groups

The more conditions added, the lower the probability and usually the higher the price.

Dutching means staking across several mutually exclusive scores so that each produces a planned return.

For scores with decimal odds o1, o2, and o3, first check:

Combined implied probability = 1/o1 + 1/o2 + 1/o3

Stakes can then be allocated in proportion to each reciprocal odds value. However, covering 1–0, 2–0, and 2–1 still loses on every other score. Multiple selections do not create guaranteed coverage, and margin remains in the prices.

A correct score already implies other events. A 2–1 score means:
